Cooperativa La Poiana was established in 1982, the year in which the town of Castelmagno in the province of Cuneo (Cn) received the DOC label recognition. The products are manufactured according to traditional methods, without the use of enzymes and pasteurization, using wooden molds and curing in natural caves. All products have the DOP classification. The co-op’s mission is to promote and sell cheeses from the Cuneo valleys, supporting and associating small mountain farms to which it is possible to visit and taste the local produce, every weekend.
